摘要🏊🏻‍♂️🆓：本次讲座我将探索新的证据和数据以帮助我们理解过去的食谱和健康🫠。我们将用崭新的方法关注两个案例研究：1）探索古代口腔菌群的变化🛠；2）探索古代人畜共患疾病及其对今日非洲的影响🥠。

Abstract: In this talk I will explore some new lines of evidence (and some new data) that are changing how we understand diet and health in the past. I will be shining new light on this broad theme, using two very different case studies: 1) exploring changes in the ancient oral microbiome and 2) recovering evidence for ancient zoonotic diseases that still effect livestock in the Horn of Africa today from a surprising source.

 Keith Dobney教授是英国利物浦大学的古人类生态学教授，现担任考古系主任🧃。他致力于古代人类与动物的关系及其对人类进化影响的研究🌁。主要研究兴趣是距今15000-10000年间狩猎采集向农业的转变，特别是动物驯化的问题。目前，他正在参与一项人类食谱与健康关系的国际合作项目，以期从古代人类口腔微生物中寻找新证据🧘🏻‍♀️。他的学术足迹遍及全球🌤，对英国👨🏿‍🌾🚶‍♀️、欧洲、中东和中国等地区的古代人类与动物遗存均有涉猎。他还参与了索马里古代动物传染疾病、阿拉斯加西部传统狩猎研究等课题✏️。
